Launch of the Global Sustainability Forum

Launch Event of the Global Sustainability Forum organized by Universal Trust at LUISS Guido Carli University.


On October 28th, 2016 at LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome Universal Trust managed the official launch of the Global Sustainability Forum. The idea behind the GSForum is to explore the complex issues around Sustainability from an economic, financial, environmental, social and political point of view. Universal Trust will manage all the activities of the Forum and has also been set up as a social enterprise to take up specific ideas and agreements and scale them up.

A crucial role will be addressed to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that are major milestones in the global imperatives of moving towards a sustainable world. The GSForum will be a place where some concrete actions could start from. 

The Launch has seen the presence of Khalid Malik, GSForum Chairman and UT President, Jean-Paul Fitoussi, GSForum Co-Chairman, Paola Severino, LUISS University Rector, Sandro Gozi,  Under-Secretary in the Office of the Italian Prime Minister, Valerio De Luca, GSForum Executive Director and UT Vice President, Enrico Giovannini, Spokesman of the ASvIS, Zhao Baige, Vice-Chairman, Foreign Relations Committee, National People's Congress of China and  Marcello Messori, Director LUISS School of European Political Economy
